The Colorado Council for Economic Education empowers Colorado students to achieve a lifetime of economic understanding and financial freedom.
We accomplish our mission by providing economic and personal financial education to students through training programs and classroom resources delivered to teachers, schools and school districts statewide.
Our programs reached 102 school districts, 1,878 teachers, and 112,250 students last year.
• Reach more Colorado teachers with our accredited economics and personal financial literacy programs by expanding our rural outreach.
• Increase student participation in our award-winning Stock Market Experience program.
• Raise awareness that economic education is imperative to equip our students with the life-skills necessary to be informed voters, wise decision-makers, prepared consumers, excellent employees, and more.
• Increase our funding base, allowing us the ability to continue offering no and low-cost teacher training programs to Colorado educators.
